Sharon Silverman, MD
Board Certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Sharon Silverman earned her bachelor's degree in Zoology from the University of Maryland achieving Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Silverman completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. After residency, Dr. Silverman worked for 6 years at St. Agnes Hospital as a faculty physician helping to teach the internal medicine residents in a primary care setting. Dr. Silverman has been a practicing physician in Columbia, Maryland since 2002 and is affiliated with the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center. Her clinical passion is helping patients to maximize their health via a healthy lifestyle, appropriate screening, early detection of disease and utilizing the latest treatment options. The goal of maintaining a high quality of life is her priority. Dr. Silverman lives in Clarksville with her husband, Marc Hamburger, a local otolaryngologist. She has two grown daughters. In her free time Dr. Silverman enjoys fitness, travel, skiing, watching the best streaming shows and checking in on the latest celebrity gossip.

Office Manager
Elanna is Dr. Silverman's Office Manager and has been working with her since 2007. She graduated from the University of Maryland and has a Bachelor of Science in Case Management. In her free time, she loves reading, kayaking, traveling, and being creative. She currently lives in Howard County with her husband and two dogs.
